The 8th New Jersey Indian & International Film Festival (NJIIFF) will take place on March 28–29, 2026, bringing together filmmakers, artists, and audiences to celebrate independent cinema and culturally diverse storytelling.
Organized by the Indian Arts & Culture Corporation (IACC), NJIIFF continues to serve as a platform connecting filmmakers from India, the United States, and the global diaspora, while promoting socially relevant and meaningful cinema.
The Opening Ceremony of the 8th New Jersey Indian & International Film Festival will take place on March 28, 2026, at Regal Hadley Theatre, South Plainfield , New Jersey, bringing together filmmakers, invited guests, and members of the community to officially inaugurate the festival.
As part of the festival celebrations, screening event will be held on March 29, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the ITV Gold Auditorium in Edison, New Jersey, where selected films will be showcased, followed by an Awards Ceremony honoring participating filmmakers and artists.
Among the films being showcased during the festival are the award-winning short films “Two Steps,” highlighting powerful storytelling and emerging voices in independent cinema.
The 8th NJIIFF is presented in association with the 5th Marathi International Film Festival (MIFF) and proudly supports the 4th Florida South Asian Film Festival (FL-SAFF), reflecting a collaborative effort to promote South Asian and international independent cinema.
Through its programming and cultural outreach, NJIIFF continues to encourage dialogue, creativity, and collaboration among filmmakers and audiences across cultures and communities.
